Overcoming Impairments

Overcoming Impairments

Children consider how they would train a ground steward to ensure that visually and physically impaired supporters are treated thoughtfully and helpfully at a match. They then learn about how clubs attempt to make rugby league accessible for everyone, and produce their own stadium design plan with this in mind. Finally they learn about the rules and histories of Wheelchair Rugby and of Wheelchair Rugby League and answer questions about similarities and differences between the two games.
